School Governors

Governors are responsible for the strategic direction of the School, such as the identification of the School's aims and vision, the implementation of the national curriculum, the monitoring of the budget, staffing, and the accountability of the School to its stakeholders.

Each year the Governors prepare a School Profile which is available to parents on the profile page of the school website.

Fairford C of E Primary is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School, which follows the locally agreed religious education syllabus. The Vicar of St. Mary's Church and two Governors are chosen by the Church to sit on the Governing Body. Foundation Governors aim to encourage links between the School and the Church by bringing a Christian perspective to the life of the School.
