Fairford C. of E. Primary School is set in a picturesque Cotswold village location.  We cater for children from 4 to 11 years of age, split into 8 classes.

We are a happy school that aims to foster every child's natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.  Through a wide variety of experiences we aim to develop a love of learning that they will carry on with them through to adulthood.

At Fairford Primary school we have extensive facilities and grounds. Our sports field is used for games, athletics and play and is complemented by our hard playground, our popular adventure play area, and our star garden designed as a quiet and calming area for the children.

We are extremely proud of our class gardens where the children choose and grow their own vegetables, later used as ingredients in our 'home cooked' school dinners.  The school and children are actively involved in the 'Gardens for Life' project.  The project encourages young people and teachers in Cornwall, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Kenya and India to share their experience of gardening and classroom learning, integrating the global dimension into core curriculum learning. We have been lucky enough to be visited by representatives from schools in Kenya and India.

We actively promote a strong partnership of parents and staff in order to provide all pupils with the best possible education.
